Available notification types

Relay provides a number of notifications that can be sent to either your Teams or Slack workspace.

Absences

Sends a daily digest summary of any holiday, absences and sicknesses.

Available settings:

  • Include any combination of:
    • Approved time off
    • Sicknesses
    • Working patterns
  • Which days of the week to send the notification (defaults to weekdays)
  • The time of day to send notifications
  • Which Teams/Slack channel to send to

Anniversaries

Sends a celebration on the day of an employees work anniversary.

Available settings:

  • The message content
  • The time of day to send notifications
  • Which Teams/Slack channel to send to

Anniversaries (early warning)

Sends a reminder one week in advance of an employees work anniversary.

Available settings:

  • The message content
  • The time of day to send notifications
  • Which Teams/Slack channel to send to

Birthdays

Sends a celebration on the day of an employees birthday.

Available settings:

  • The message content
  • The time of day to send notifications
  • Which Teams/Slack channel to send to

Birthdays (early warning)

Sends a reminder one week in advance of an employees birthday.

New starters

Sends a celebration on an employees first day.

Available settings:

  • The time of day to send notifications

New starters (early warning)

Sends a reminder one week in advance of a new starters first day.

Available settings:

  • The message content
  • The time of day to send notifications
  • Which Teams/Slack channel to send to
